I was born and raised in Melbourne, Australia, where I was fortunate to grow up in a community rich in Torah values and Chassidic warmth. My Yeshiva journey took me across Australia, France, and New York, giving me exposure to diverse learning environments and a deep appreciation for the unique Life experiences, acheivments, hopes and challenges young men face in each stage of their growth.

 

During my time in Yeshiva, I had the privilege of serving as a Shliach—a role reserved for senior students entrusted with being role models and mentors for younger bochurim. I served as a Shliach in elementary school, Mesivta, and Zal across Melbourne, Westchester, and Brooklyn, respectivly. These experiences were deeply transformative, teaching me the importance of patience, trust, and sincere care in building meaningful connections with young men.

Following my time as a Shliach, I went on to teach in both elementary and Yeshiva settings in Brooklyn, further developing my understanding of the individual and collective needs of our youth. Today, I proudly serve as a Mashpia at Chovevei Torah in Brooklyn—a role that positions me as an official spiritual guide and mentor, responsible for offering spiritual direction, emotional support, and meaningful guidance to students navigating both their personal and spiritual journeys.

Throughout these years, one recurring realization has stayed with me: Young men need more than just knowledge—They need to be heard, appreciated, and understood at their own level. Each individual needs to be seen as just that- a unique individual with his own talents, skills and challenges. And they need individualized guidance tailored to their specific struggles and aspirations. While traditional Yeshiva structures provide incredible foundations, there’s often a gap when it comes to addressing personal questions, emotional well-being, and applying the studies to become practical life skills.

 

This understanding led me to deepen my expertise by studying Life Coaching through the Torah Psychology School of Coaching & Counseling under Rabbi Daniel Schonbuch, MA, LMFT. This program, accredited by the International Coaching Federation (ICF), built upon my years of teaching and mentoring, providing me with additional tools to offer focused, goal-oriented support. Upon completing the program, I graduated as a Certified Life Coach (CLC), equipped to empower others with clarity, confidence, and direction in both their personal and spiritual lives.

 

This combined experience of teaching, mentoring, and formal training culminated in the creation of Your Jewish Coach.

With a foundation rooted in Torah values and a focus on practical, real-world strategies, this initiative is designed to empower young men to find clarity, build confidence, and achieve their goals with purpose and direction.

This isn’t just about coaching—it’s about building a space where every young man feels seen, heard, and supported on his unique journey toward personal and spiritual success.
